The results of the Senior Badminton Tournament on 16th June 2012 at Kineton High School
One of the great benefits we have realised with a badminton tournament is that it doesn't matter what the weather is like outside, you can still play! So whilst the wind rattled the roof panels on the sports hall 10 adults battled it out to see who would emerge as the Edgehill Games Badminton Champions.
Each couple played all the others in a league and there were some close matches and some that were not so close, but it was played in a sporting atmosphere. In the end Barry Jackson and Katy Hartless showed that they were the strongest players by holding up the rest of the results table above them (yes unfortunately they came last). Above them were Andrew Rose and Helen Smith in 4th place; just knocked out of the medals after a very close game with Andrew Jeffrey and Linda Clark.
